This hand carved spoon uses wood salvaged from the reclaimed staves of a french oak wine barrel used to mature wine from a vineyard in Wollombi, in the Hunter Region. The wine leaves a beautiful stain gradient as the colour in the wood mellows over time. By sourcing a barrel that has been unused for a decade, our Merlo spoons feature a rare, deep hue. Perfect as a coffee scoop.

Not suitable for microwave, oven or dishwasher. Please wash by hand with care.
Simply re-oil with tung oil when its colour starts to dull.
